Donna C. (Duphiney) McCutcheon
December 15, 1948 ~ January 13, 2018 (age 69) 69 Years OldWorcester – Donna C. (Duphiney) McCutcheon, 69, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Worcester. She was the former wife of David McCutcheon, Jr.
Born in Fall River, Mass., a daughter of the late David and Irene (Manton) Duphiney, she had lived in Lincoln for many years, moving to Worcester five years ago.
Mrs. McCutcheon was a teacher in the Lincoln Public Schools, specializing in special education and elementary education, retiring in 2002. In her free time she was a volunteer for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She was a patient of the Joslin Clinic, Boston, where she was awarded the Lily Diabetes Journey Award, and was a Joslin Medalist.
She is survived by one daughter, Sevi McCutcheon, and her partner Wayne Russell, of Spencer, Mass., one sister Dianne Marsh, and her husband Robert of Virginia Beach, VA, two granddaughters, Kalli McCutcheon and Adriana Russell; her niece and nephew, Allison Webb and Robert Marsh, and her longtime companion, Buddy the Cat.
A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004 would be appreciated.
