Rebecca M. (Miguel) Albert
April 24, 1979 ~ May 10, 2017 (age 38) 38 Years OldLincoln – Rebecca M. (Miguel) Albert, 38, of Stonybridge Drive, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Douglas Albert. Mr. & Mrs. Albert had been married for the past eight years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of Arlene C. (Yates) Miguel of Barrington, and the late Richard J. Miguel, she had lived in Lincoln for the past five years.
Mrs. Albert worked as a Special Education Teacher, and as a Special Education Team Chair in the Norton School District, most recently at L.G. Nourse Elementary School, retiring due to illness in January.
She was a graduate of Rhode Island College with a B.S. in Education, was a graduate of American International College, with a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership, and earned a Graduate Certificate from Suffolk University. She was a member of Four Corners Community Chapel, Cumberland.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her two beloved sons, Luke R. Albert, and Connor E. Albert of Lincoln; her brother, Matthew V. Miguel of East Providence; two nephews, Ryan Miguel and Ethan Miguel; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steven and Gail Albert of Lincoln.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., in Four Corners Community Chapel, 200 Angell Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Tuesday, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Her burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
