Lincoln – John J. Grimley, 90, of Lincoln passed away peacefully Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved companion of the late Carolyn Tousignant.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Henry and Mary (Stoupe) Grimley, he had lived in Lincoln for over 50 years.
Mr. Grimley was a typesetter for Providence Typesetting Company, Providence before retiring.
He was a Korean War Army veteran and was a member of the Lincoln Manor Tenants Association.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 7 at 11 A.M. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln Thursday from 9:30–10:30 A.M.
