Lemuel G. Tanksley, Jr.

Cumberland - Lemuel G. Tanksley, Jr., 47, of Cumberland, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Born in Pawtucket, Lemuel was the cherished son of John Juhr and Linda Tanksley, and Lemuel Tanksley, Sr. and Cindie Tanksley. He had lived in Cumberland for many years.

Lemuel worked as a roofer all of his life, most recently for Johnny C's Roofing Co., East Providence. Throughout his career, he displayed a strong work ethic and dedication to his craft. Outside of work, he found joy in playing pool and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents and step-parents, he is survived by the love of his life, JeanMarie Cameron of Cumberland; his siblings, Daniel Tanksley, Stephen Chasse, Jr. and his wife Kim, Cynthia Mastera and her husband Myles, Ronald Tanksley and his wife Kerri, Casey Tanksley and his wife Deb, Rhiannon Tanksley and Christopher Tanksley; his step children, Joseph and Kahla Cameron and Robert Watts and grandchildren Joseph and Layla and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
