SOUTH ATTLEBORO- Edgar P. Gagnon, 80, of Woodbine St., passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Juliette P. (Belanger) Gagnon. They had been married for 57 years.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Philippe and Aurore (Emond) Gagnon. Mr. Gagnon worked in the distribution center for CVS until his retirement. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War attaining the rank of Corporal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Edouard Gagnon and his sister Hermelia Gagnon.
He is survived by his wife Juliette; his son, Philip E. Gagnon and his wife Lisa of Woonsocket; granddaughter, Katelyn Gagnon; his brothers and sisters, Edmond Gagnon and his wife Maryann of Pawtucket, Aurore Berouty and her husband Thomas of Cumberland, Eddelard Gagnon and his wife Candice of Tennessee, Rachel Blais of Central Falls and Edwin Gagnon and his wife Tina of Warwick. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
His Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral on Tuesday from 10:00AM until the start of the service hour. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to The Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter at www.alz.org/ri would be appreciated.
