Dr. McGrath was our family dentist for 40 years. We appreciated his kind and gentle demeanour, his excellence in care and skill and the special attention in every visit. He was just an amazing man and was appreciated for his ability to make us all comfortable through every procedure. As a little girl who was scared to see the dentist, Dr. McGrath put me at ease and I looked forward to every visit with him and Jonie :) We will never forget the amazing service and person he was. Rest in peace and our condolences to his family and Jonie.

I'm so sorry to hear of Dr. McGrath's passing. Like many others here, he was the first and only dentist I had until the day he retired. I send my sincere condolences to his family and all his friends.

IOur sincere condolences to the family. From personal experience, we know how painful the death of a loved is. One thing that helped our family was reading words of consolation from The Holy Scriptures. One scripture that we know is what our lord Jesus said in John 5:28 which reads: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The hope of a resurrection and knowing that we can see our loved ones again in the near future can bring us much hope and comfort. If you would like to read The Holy Scriptures directly on the website, go to: www.jw.org. We pray that the words found in The Bible can soothe your hearts.
Sincerely, Maggie

Wow! Dr McGrath was a wonderful man & dentist! Three generations of my family went to his office. My aunt coordinated her visits home from Chicago to make an appointment with Dr McGrath. I remember my parents were very appreciative he let them make payments for the dental bills for the six of us. It was important to my father that we see Dr McGrath every year. We will always remember this kind man. Our sincere condolences.

Dr. McGrath 'Dr. Phil' was dentist for almost 40 years. He was a gracious and kind person, and I could fall asleep in his chair. Used to love to kid him about guessing the serial number on his X-machine...always thought it was '2' . I will always remember him.

Dear Mrs. McGrath & Family,
Dr. McGrath was my dentist was 30+ years and I LOVED going to see him. He was truly a kind and compassionate man, plus a gifted dentist. He helped me out more times than I can remember. I saw him just before he retired in the Fall of 2012. I will always remember him fondly, as I know he is somewhere with a smile on his face, sipping a Manhattan. Dr. McGrath was the sweet vermouth!
Sincerely,
Nancy Corrigan Wilbert

Mrs. McGrath, I'm sorry for your loss. Dr. McGrath will always be warmly remembered. I worked for your husband in 1974, it was my first job out of URI. He was so warm and kind and I loved him. I will remember his coffee shakes for lunch..every day. I would see him from time to time at the RIDA meetings and would look forward to a big hug from him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My first dentist, dating to the 1950's - a kind and soft-spoken man. I remember visiting his summer home in Meredith, NH, as a child, and having an appointment with him in 1981 on the day Pres Reagan was shot. My condolences to all.
