Yvette A. (L'Heureux) Bedard

Lincoln – Yvette A. (L’Heureux) Bedard, 96, of Manville passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family and her faithful dog, Dover. She was the wife of the late Oscar F. “OB” Bedard. Mr. and Mrs. Bedard were married for over 45 years.

   She was one of the former owners of B & L Landscaping Co., Inc., which was passed on successfully to Normand L. Lariviere.

   A lifelong resident of Manville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Laliberte) L’Heureux.

   Yvette was employed at Manville-Jenks for many years and retired to become a caretaker for many throughout the years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, and watching the Boston Red Sox.

   She is survived by her daughter, Diane Salisbury and her husband Scott of Cumberland; her grandson, Ryan Lariviere and his wife Olivia of Warwick; step grandchildren, Amanda Desjardins of Burrillville and family, Ashley Deanda of Melbourne, FL and family, Christopher Salisbury of Central Falls and family; her brother, Ernest L’Heureux of NC; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret Savini, Etienne L’Heureux, Clemence L’Heureux, Pauline Peterson, Madeline Plante, Olivia L’Heureux and Edward L. L’Heureux.

   Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10 A.M. in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
