Providence – Virginia F. Waycott, 89, of Providence and formerly of Pawtucket passed away peacefully Monday, May 10, 2021 at Summit Commons, Providence.
Born in St. Stephen’s, New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late John and Mildred G. (Waddingham) Waycott, she had lived in Pawtucket for over 70 years before moving to Providence several years ago.
Miss Waycott was a medical records clerk at the former Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket for many years before retiring.
She loved to play bingo and participate in all of the activities at Summit Commons. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Lincoln.
Virginia is survived by her dear friend, Paul A. Mayben and his husband, The Rev. James W. Kelliher of Providence
