Virginia Platt Obituary
Providence - Virginia R. Platt, 70, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at HopeHealth Hospice Hulitar Center, Providence. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Marguerite (Dyer) Platt.
Miss Platt worked as a caregiver for the ARC of the Blackstone Valley, and was a member of Park Place Congregational Church, Pawtucket.
She is survived by her sister Kathleen Frias, and her brothers Ernest and Robert Whitmarsh.
A Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00AM in Park Place Congregational Church, 71 Park Place Pawtucket. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted, and her burial in North Burial Ground, Providence, will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Bellows Funeral Chapel, Lincoln.
