Vera C. deNicola

Pawtucket - Vera C. deNicola, 94, formerly of Oriole Avenue, died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Stillwater Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Greenville.

Born in North Providence, a daughter of the late Giovanni and Dora (DeAmici) deNicola, she had resided in Pawtucket for most of her life, moving to Greenville six years ago.

Miss deNicola worked in administration for the former Rhode Island Hospital Trust, and later as an administrative assistant for the Rhode Island Department of Health before retiring. She was a graduate of Bryant & Stratton College.

Throughout her life, Vera was always fond of and concerned for the care of animals, and volunteered her time with the Humane Society of Northwest Rhode Island, and for various animal rescue organizations throughout the State.

She is survived by cousins.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at St. Francis Cemetery, 163 Smithfield Avenue, Pawtucket. Family and friends are invited.
