Thomas J. Fish Sr, 82, of Lincoln, passed away on December 5, 2023 at Hope Health Hospice in Providence surrounded by his family. He was born in Pawtucket RI to Sarah Puliafico and Louis Charles Fish on July 28, 1941.
Thomas worked at Corning Glass/GTE/Osram Sylvania for 35 years, retiring in 1997 as the Occupational Safety Mgr/Safety Engineer.
He was Past President of Local 1007 Glassworks Union, 1979-1983, Past member of AFL/CIO RI, American Society Safety Engineers, and National Fire Protection Association.
Upon retirement, Tom became an avid golfer, enjoyed gardening and reading novels.
He is survived by his life partner Geraldine Kuczer who he met in 1990 and spent the last 33 years enjoying life together. He is survived by one daughter Kristen Van and her husband Kira, of Providence; two sons Thomas Fish Jr., and Stephen Fish of Florida; his step children, David Kuczer and wife Heather, of Florida, and Jennifer Cutler and her husband Chris, of Lincoln; his grandchildren Alexandria Howe and her husband Nick, Avery Van, Christina Fish, Austin, McKenna and Christian Kuczer, and Sophia and Gabriella Cutler; and great granddaughter Nora Howe. He also leaves his beloved brother, Dr Kenneth J. Fish and his wife Linda of New York; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Maureen Fish and Glenn Fish; and the brother of the late Louis C. Fish, Jr. and Catherine Fish Tavares.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call on Sunday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
