Cranston — Thomas P. Bousquet, 59 of Ivy Ave. passed peacefully at his home on Monday, March 9th 2020.
Born in Providence, Thomas was son of Donald P. Bousquet and the late Barbara A. (Clement) Bousquet, of Lincoln. He resided in Cranston for most of his life.
Tom, or Tommy; as his loved ones knew him, was a proud father and a proud contributor to the Rhode Island music scene. With great friend, Carl Sugerman, and the cast of the original ‘The Living Room’ Tom saw artists turn into stars. He worked at 94.1 WHJY Providence radio station as a Senior Sales Rep and Commercial Advertising Producer. This included collaborating with Ron Hayden to produce national award winning advertisements for Wes’ Rib House, Olneyville. He had worked closely with founder of Warwick Musical Theater the late ‘Buster’ Bonoff and his son, Larry Bonoff. He did fundraising for the Fraternal Order of Police. Tom was also a successful entrepreneur; he founded ‘Buy Rhode Island’ a gift basket business based around Rhode Island and it’s goods.
Thomas is survived by his father, Donald Bousquet, his second eldest brother Michael, and his youngest brother, James. He is also survived by his son, Brenden Bousquet, and his son’s fiancée and his caregiver, Katrina Vonkriegenbergh. His eldest brother is the late Steven Bousquet.
A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated Saturday March 14th 2020 10:00 a.m. at Saint Paul’s Church located at 30 Warwick Ave Cranston. We will be gathering following the service at Lincoln Council Knights of Columbus Hall located at 171 Jenckes Hill Road Lincoln, RI. Please join us for refreshments and comforts.
