Therese Simone (Malouin) Auclair

MANVILLE- Therese S. (Malouin) Auclair, 88, of Manville, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at The Holiday Retirement Home, Manville.  She was the beloved wife of the late Roger L. Auclair for 62 years at the time of his death in 2020.  Born in St. Christine, Quebec, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Armand F. and Marie Odile (Depault) Malouin.

Mrs. Auclair moved to the United States of America in 1947, settling in Cumberland.  She later moved to Lincoln in 1949.  She worked as a bonder at Uniroyal and Amperex and later as a tester at Philips before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her two brothers Alfred and Henri Malouin.

She is survived by her two sisters, Jeanne Kusnarowis of Sandwich, MA and Madeleine Smith of Peacedale.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 10-11AM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln.  A graveside service and burial will follow at 11:30AM at St. James Cemetery, Manville.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Harmony Hospice, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated.
