Theresa E. (Drew) Rita

Cumberland – Theresa E. (Drew) Rita, 91, of Prospect Street, died Saturday, February 4, 2023 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.  She was the wife of the late Angelo Rita.

A lifelong resident of Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Rose (Ostiguy) Drew.

Mrs. Rita worked at the former Sidney Blumenthal’s before retiring to take care of her family, to whom she was always devoted and loved dearly.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Rita of Cumberland; two sons, Randal Rita, and his wife Donna, of Cumberland and Kenneth Rita, and his wife Venus, of Pascoag; one sister, Muriel Archambault of Lincoln; one brother, Donald Drew of Melbourne, Florida; four grandchildren, Ethan Rita, Illyana Rita, Kelly Traylor and Daniel Johnson; and four great grandchildren, Kinsley Traylor, Mason Traylor, Benjamin Johnson and Lilly Johnson.  She was the sister of the late Celeste Fabrowski, Maurice Drew, Jr., Joseph Drew, Priscilla Papineau and Gloria Drew.
