Medway, Mass. - Russell R. Moreau, 71, died peacefully on September 12th at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Karen L. Foster, and the former husband of Abigail (Morgan) Moreau.
Born in Manchester, N.H., a son of the late Joseph L.H. and Lorena E. (Cote) Moreau, he had lived in Medway and Bristol, R.I. for the past fifteen years, previously residing in Exeter, N.H.
Mr. Moreau had a long, successful career as a sales executive for Procter & Gamble, Clorox and Dannon before retiring in 2017.
Russ was a proud graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and was an avid UNH hockey fan. He enjoyed summers on Martha's Vineyard with his daughters and the July 4th celebration in Bristol. He had a passion for the NY Times crosswords puzzles and was known for his signature pies. He was a member of the Bristol County Elks Lodge #1860, B.P.O.E., Bristol, R.I.
Besides his wife and former wife, he is survived by two daughters, Morgan E. Burgess of Tewksbury, Mass., and Caroline R. Cole, and her husband Michael, of Billerica, Mass.; two brothers, Dean D. Moreau of Savannah, GA and Joseph L. Moreau of Manchester, N.H.; and two grandsons, Camden C. Burgess and Theodore A. Cole.
