Lincoln - Rosalie A. (Gabrielle) Laliberte, 76, of Lincoln died Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Stephen Laliberte, to whom she had been married for the past twenty-four years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late James and Daisy (Rodrigues) Gabrielle and had resided in Lincoln for the past six years, previously residing in North Providence and Providence.
Mrs. Gabrielle worked as a manager at Dunkin, telemarketing specialist for Sears Marketing, and in customer service for CVS and Lighthouse, MD, before working prior to her retirement. She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where she earned her bachelor's degree in English.
Rosalie enjoyed reading and playing computer games, as well as watching YouTube videos. She was an avid crafter, and was well known for refurbishing furniture and other items using her artistic talents.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kim Gilooley of Central Falls, her son, John "Jay" Gilooley of Central Falls; three sisters, Maria Howell of Woonsocket, Yolanda Gabrielle of Warwick, and Lola Gabrielle of Cape Cod, Mass.; one brother, Mark Gabrielle of Connecticut; three grandchildren, Michael, Olivia and James; and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Jimmy Gabrielle.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
