Lincoln - Robert M. St. Onge, 77, of Main Street, Albion, died Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Coccoli) St. Onge, with whom he would have celebrated their forty-seventh anniversary on November 11th.
Born in Manville, a son of the late Marcel and Doris (Laliberte) St. Onge, he was a lifelong resident of Lincoln.
Mr. St. Onge worked in the shipping department for Bancroft, and for Mark Stephens, before retiring. A member of the Manville Firefighters Association, he was a volunteer firefighter for over twenty-five years with the Manville Fire Department, achieving the rank of Captain.
Bob enjoyed camping and fishing, especially at Ross Hill in Connecticut. He was a member of the Manville Sportsmen's Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepchildren, Kimberly Dupont of Coventry, and Scott Clayman of Florida; two sisters, Lorraine Aubin of Manville, and Jeanne Sylvestre of Manville; three grandchildren, Crystal Monaco, Sean Dupont and Kaitlin Dupont; and three great grandchildren, Francesca, Delilah and Anthony Monaco. He was the brother of the late Suzanne St. Onge and Therese Rousseau.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 9:00 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saint James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow in Saint James Cemetery, Manville.
Family and friends are invited and may attend visiting hours on Tuesday from 9:00 -10:00 AM at the funeral home.
