Bob spent his childhood in Chicopee and later settled in East Greenwich, where he resided for many years. In 2010, he made his home in Lincoln. Bob was a man of great knowledge and academic achievement, obtaining his MBA from Adelphi University after graduating from Westfield State University.
With a passion for automobiles, Bob embarked on a successful career in the automotive industry. As the owner of Automotive Parts Services, he displayed exceptional integrity and commitment to his work. Prior to this, he dedicated his expertise as the service director at numerous dealerships.
More than just a businessman, Bob was fondly known as "Bob the Builder" among his family and friends. His innate ability to build anything became a defining characteristic. He constructed numerous projects with his Kubota tractor, to name one of his prized projects a beautiful water feature he designed, using rocks from the property. Bob was a proud craftsman. When he was not working or driving around in his beloved Corvette, he and his wife enjoyed exploring new destinations both across the country and overseas, creating lasting memories during their travels.
Bob also honorably served his country in the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of twenty-three years, Nancy Plasse; his daughters, Melissa Plasse and Shelli Pietskowski; his son, Mark Plasse; step-daughters, Samantha Baudreau and Stacey Lashua; sisters, Christine Brown and Sister Cecile Plasse of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary; ten adoring grandchildren; ten beloved great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members.
