Cumberland - Robert A. Fallago, 78, of Paine Road, died Friday, November 28, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Mahon) Fallago, to whom he had enjoyed fifty-one years of marriage.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Gaspare and Melissa (Grossi) Fallago, he was raised in Cranston, and graduated from Cranston East High School, Class of 1966, where he was All-State in football and wrestling. He went on to graduate from Providence College in 1970 with his bachelor's degree in business.
Mr. Fallago worked as a sales engineer for Air Inc., Arburg Inc., and for Cincinnati Milacron, retiring in 2024. He was known for his keen intellect and quick sense of humor, always ready to hold court for anyone who would listen. He enjoyed good food and fun times with family and friends.
He was a communicant of Saint John Vianney Church, Cumberland.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one sister, Margherita Stargard of North Smithfield; one brother, Richard Fallago of East Greenwich; nieces Claire Stargard, and Colleen Phillips, nephews Richard Fallago, Christopher Fallago, Paul Fallago, and GJ Deignan, and several great nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 9:00 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saint John Vianney Church, 3655 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Saturday from 9:00 - 10:00 AM.
