Richard L. Morrissette

Pawtucket - Richard L. Morrissette, 84, formerly of Pawtucket, died Friday, March 20, 2026 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline (Goodenough) Morrissette.

Born and raised in Central Falls, a son of the late Leo and Simonne (Martel) Morrissette, he resided in Pawtucket for most of his life. He was a graduate of Johnson & Wales University.

Mr. Morrissette worked in the grocery industry for many years, retiring as a grocery receiver for Seabra Foods, Cumberland in 2020.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam War aboard the U.S.S. Kittyhawk.

Richard enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as spending time with his granddaughter, playing cribbage and watching television, and enjoyed being outside during nice weather.

He is survived by one daughter, Pamela Clement and her companion, Louis Medeiros of East Providence; one son, Mark Morrissette of Florida; and three grandchildren, Bryanna Clement, Marcus Morrissette and Tyler Morrissette.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial with military honors will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
