Bristol - Rene L. Beauvais, 92, formerly of Bristol, died Thursday, November 6, 2025 at The Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan F. (Doyle) Beauvais.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late William and Eva (Bussiere) Beauvais, he had resided in Bristol for thirty-three years.
Mr. Beauvais worked as a mechanic for the City of Central Falls, retiring in 1998. Prior to his retirement he was the owner and operator of Hub Auto Repair in Central Falls. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during the Korean War.
He is survived by two daughters, Debra Aurecchia, and her husband John, of Cumberland, and Brenda Bush, and her husband Raymond, of Burrillville; one son, Steven Beauvais of Smithfield; one sister, Muriel Dufresne of Rumford; one brother, Ronald Beauvais of Texas; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral and burial with military honors in Mount St. Mary Cemetery will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
