Raymonde M. (Aube) Boislard

Albion - Raymonde M. (Aubé) Boislard (Frenchie), 86, of Main Street, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at The Miriam Hospital, Providence, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Fern Boislard.  Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Rosaria (Verpaelst) Aubé.

Raymonde was a dedicated employee at Ocean State News and Ann and Hope. She adored her cat and dogs, but her heart belonged to her cat Keke. She enjoyed summer days at the beach, and weekly visits to her favorite spot, Frank's Restaurant in Lincoln, where she always looked forward to seeing her favorite waitress. She was a huge fan of Elvis, had a great sense of humor, and a love for people. Above all, she cherished moments spent with her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fern Boislard, her two sons Yvon and Ricky Boislard, her beloved daughter Manon Boislard and her siblings Claire St-Francois, Flore DesRochers, Cécile Oullette, Jacque Aubé, and Claude and Charles Aubé.

She is survived by her loving children, Denis Boislard of Pawtucket and Guylaine R. Leonard and her husband Stephen of Barrington; three cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Leonard and his wife Jennifer, Benjamin Leonard and his wife Joann and Angelique Beauchamp and great granddaughter Giuliana Leonard; and her siblings, Raynald Aubé and his wife Claudette, Précille Lussier and her husband Serge, and Pierrette Bourque.

Her funeral will be held at 8:45AM on Monday, December 16, 2024 from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at The Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland.  Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Sunday from 4:00 - 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA) www.rispca.org would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Hope Health Hospice. They also want to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and especially the nurses at Miriam Hospital for being so kind and caring to their beloved Raymonde.(Lovingly known as "Mama", "Memere", and "Frenchie").
