Cumberland – Raymond Hilton, 79, of Mowry Avenue, died Saturday, November 28, 2020 at home.  He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Miller) Hilton.  Mr. & Mrs. Hilton had been married for fifty-eight years.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Fred L. and Elizabeth (Pollitt) Hilton, he had lived in Cumberland for most of his life.

Mr. Hilton worked for the Coca-Cola Company for many years, retiring as district manager.  After retiring he went on to become a bus driver for Conway Tours, Cumberland.

He was an avid hunter and fly fisherman, and was a member of the Cumberland Beagle Club, where he was Past President and N.R.A. Instructor.  An Army veteran, he in the 101st Airborne Division, and later served in the R.I. National Guard for fourteen years.  He was a member of Post 14, American Legion, Cumberland.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Heidi Giammarco, and her husband Paul, of Cumberland, and Becky Icken, and her husband David, of Keller, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Coffey of Florida, and Debra Massei of Pawtucket; five grandchildren, Michael Giammarco, Faith Giammarco, Cameron Icken, Hannah Icken and Cooper Icken; and his beloved dog, Molly.  He was the twin brother of the late Fred Hilton, and the brother of the late Phyllis Bennett and Roy Hilton.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike, Smithfield.  Private burial with military honors, will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to HopeHealth Visiting Nurses, 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Lincoln, R.I. 02865 would be appreciated.  For online guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.  Arrangements with Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
