Lincoln- Raymond M. Choiniere, 85, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Anita L. (Ledoux) Choiniere for over 63 years. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Edouard and Hedwidge (Soucy) Choiniere. He had lived in Lincoln since 1973.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Alfred Choiniere, Irene Miller, Lucy Doiron, Gerard Choiniere, Louise Field, Agnes Janelle, Norman Choiniere, Rita Boyer, and Angele Adams.
Raymond worked for forty-six years at Rhode Island Textiles, designing and maintaining machinery. He was a master of all trades, and had a love of puzzles, and playing games with family and friends.
Besides his wife Anita, he is survived by his children, Vickie A. Torres of Lincoln and Alan R. Choiniere, and his wife Christine, of Lincoln; his brother Marcel Choiniere of Arizona; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Monday April 14, 2025 at 10:00AM at Saint Jude Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday from 2:00-5:00PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
