Lincoln – Ray Nadeau, 75, of Franklin Street, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Kenney) Nadeau. Mr. & Mrs. Nadeau had been married for forty-eight years.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Emile and Albina (Marcotte) Nadeau, he had lived in Lincoln for most of his life.
Mr. Nadeau was a union carpenter with the Carpenters, Local 535, Massachusetts before retiring.
An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Rhode Island Canoe Club, and enjoyed rock climbing, cross-country skiing, and camping.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kristy Nadeau of Danielson, Connecticut and Katie Nadeau of Lincoln; two sons, Jesse Nadeau and Joshua Nadeau, both of Fall River, Massachusetts; three sisters, Marie Picchi of Cumberland, Annette Kingston of Mt. Sidney, Virginia and Elaine Mulligan of Chepachet; four brothers, Paul Nadeau of Jacksonville, Florida, Emile Nadeau of Woonsocket, and Richard Nadeau and Roger Nadeau, both of Chepachet; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Jason Nadeau and the brother of the late Marc Nadeau.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his funeral and burial will be private.
