Cumberland – Phyllis R. (Neil) Pelland, 89, of Cumberland passed away peacefully Sunday, June 20, 2021 at The Holiday Retirement Home, Lincoln. She was the wife of the late Ovila J. Pelland.

   Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late William and Lillian (Bowden) Neil, she had loved in Cumberland for the past 32 years.

   Mrs. Pelland was a head bookkeeper at the former Almacs Grocery Stores for many years before retiring.

   She was a member of Crossroads International Church, Assembly of God, South Attleboro, Massachusetts.

   She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey J. Pelland and his wife Sheila of Cumberland, and Michael Merola of Cranston; two brothers, Donald Neil of Pawtucket and William Neil of California; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Tracy Pelland and the sister of the late Barbara Agnew.
