Lincoln - Philip Wade, 80, formerly of Lincoln and Pawtucket, died Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Heritage Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Smithfield.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Ernest E. and Ruth (Sinkinson) Wade, he had lived in Pawtucket until 2005, moving to Lincoln. He was a graduate of Pawtucket West High School, and the Franklin Institute, Boston, Mass., where he earned an Associate's Degree in Commercial & Industrial Photography.
Mr. Wade worked as a sputter coding technician for D.B. Thin Films, Woonsocket before retiring.
Phil was a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of Jenks Lodge #24, F. & A.M., where he served as Master in 1993. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Providence, and the Palestine Shrine. He volunteered his time at the Lawton Home for the Aged.
He is survived by three brothers, Robert Wade, and his wife Irene, of North Kingstown, James Wade, and his wife Susan, of Narragansett, and Peter Wade, and his companion, Janet Dowling, of Johnston; his brother-in-law, Walter Royley of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carol Royley.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 10:15 am.
