Peter Majeau Obituary

Cumberland - Peter S. Majeau, 59, of Mendon Road, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at home.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of Carol (Hodgin) Majeau of Barefoot Bay, Florida and the late Gilbert Majeau, he had lived his entire life in Cumberland and Lincoln.

Mr. Majeau was a machinist for Osram Sylvania, Central Falls, and later was a mechanic for the Pawtucket Water Supply Board.

He was a graduate of Cumberland High School, a member of the Filibuster Club, Cumberland, and a veteran of the United States Navy.

Besides his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Abigail Gardner of Lincoln, Emily Majeau of Lincoln and Kristen Majeau of Lincoln; five sons, Brendan Majeau of Lincoln, Benjamin Majeau of Lincoln, Tyler Majeau of North Providence, Ryan Majeau of Cumberland, and Zachary Majeau of Lincoln; one sister, Leslie Morin of Wakefield; and four grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Wednesday, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Social distancing will be followed, and all guests will be required to wear a mask.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Camp Sunshine, 35 Acadia Road, Casco, ME 04015 would be appreciated.  For guest book and directions, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.
