North Providence -- Pauline Y. Neri, 87, of Oak Knoll Court, died Monday, June 22, 2020, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Francis Neri. Frank and Pauline had been married for sixty-two years.
Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Philip and Yvette (Lanciaux) Thibaudeau, she had lived in North Providence for most of her life.
Pauline worked as a hair stylist, legal secretary and receptionist before retiring. She was a graduate of St. Ann's Academy, Marlboro, Massachusetts
An avid bowler with Frank, she belonged to several leagues at Cranston Bowl over the years. She also enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, playing cards and working on crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was a communicant of Saint Anthony Church, North Providence.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Karen Neri and her husband Robert LoRe of Cumberland, and Andrea J. Neri-Carrington and her husband Paul Carrington of Coventry; two sons, David F. Neri of Palmyra, Pennsylvania, and Stephen P. Neri and his wife Dee Miller of Attleboro, Massachusetts; two sisters, Louise Dakake of Lincoln and Roberta Masse of North Carolina; one brother, Henri Thibaudeau of Lincoln; six grandchildren, Joseph IV, Dylan and Jonathan Pingitore, Katerina Neri, and Ryan and Nathan Miller-Neri; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Philip, Robert, Richard and Jeanne Thibaudeau and Yvette LaRiviere.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Private burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Boulevard, East Providence, R.I. 02914 would be appreciated.
