Warwick - Pauline H. Mantha, 83, of Warwick, died Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Avalon Nursing Home, Warwick.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Loretta B. (Gagnon) Mantha, she had lived in North Providence for many years before moving to Warwick twenty years ago.
Pauline worked for Fleet Bank for twenty-seven years, retiring in 2000. She was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart High School and Katharine Gibbs School.
She traveled extensively throughout the United States, especially loving to visit California and Hawaii. She was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels, and was a communicant of St. Anthony Church, North Providence, where she taught CCD.
She is survived by one daughter, Julie Ann Ellis of Warwick; three grandchildren, Lenny Cherry, Kate Cherry and Michael Andrews; and two great grandchildren, Michael Andrews, Jr. and Matthew Andrews. She was the mother of the late Paula L. Andrews and Mark Stephen Andrews, and the sister of the late William A. Mantha.
A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited.
