Paul N. Nichola

Warwick - Paul N. Nichola, 69, of Warwick, died Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Lillian N. Berger.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Nicholas P. and Betty (Barac) Nichola, he was raised in Central Falls, and had lived in Warwick for the past thirty-eight years.

A graduate of Central Falls High School, he  furthered his education at Providence College School of Continuing Education.  He had been employed at Osram Sylvania in Central Falls, until illness forced his early retirement.

A kind, loving, generous and gentle man with a great attitude and lively sense of humor, he was ever the optimist and always made the best of everything.  He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sister, Constance “Connie” Crowley of Cumberland, his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jerry V. Jorge of Lahaina, Hawaii, formerly of Lincoln, his brother, Peter S. Nichola of Trenton, New Jersey, and his cherished nephews, Jeffery R. Jorge and Brian N. Jorge of Hermosa Beach, California; as well as cousins and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Joseph Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Social distancing will be followed, and all guests will be required to wear a mask.  A livestream of the Mass will be available to view on Paul’s online memorial page  at www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.  His burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Saint Joseph Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, R.I. 02863 would be appreciated.  For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com  Arrangements with Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
