Paul Farley III Obituary

Lincoln - Paul G. “Paulie” Farley III passed away at his home in Lincoln on Sunday, December 20th. He was the son of Margaret Bessette Muksian (George) of Lincoln and Paul G Farley Jr. (Susan) of Narragansett. He is survived by his son, Ethan Paul Sou and his mother, Islanda Sou, both of Lincoln.

Paul leaves two sisters, Courtney Farley Horley (Brian) of Portsmouth and Kathryn Farley of Narragansett; two brothers, Aram Muksian (Maria) of California and Daniel Muksian of Lincoln; and five nieces and nephews: Tatum, Cooper, and Maryn Horley and Marco and Ava Muksian. Additionally, Paul leaves his lifelong friend, Jeff Boudjouk, and many friends at Danny’s.

Paul was a lifelong resident of Lincoln, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1994 and attending the University of Rhode Island. He was the Business Development Manager at Partners Auto Auction in Foster, RI.

Being a Dad was Paul’s mission, and he was great at it. He and Ethan did everything together. They loved fishing, swimming, surfing, golfing, and going to sporting events - PC, URI, Pats, Red Sox - whenever they could. A member of the Bonnet Shores Beach Club, Paul also enjoyed time on Charlestown Beach. He and Ethan absolutely loved spending all day on the beach with family and friends, ending the day with a cookout and with Jimmy Buffet playing in the background.

Paul was very active in the Lincoln youth sport programs, coaching many of Ethan’s teams. Whether baseball, basketball, or soccer, Paul was always there, his booming voice encouraging all players and critiquing all officials.

Paul was a big man with a bigger laugh. Gregarious and charismatic, he lit up every room he entered with his great smile and colorful stories. He had a big heart and was generous to a fault with his time and money. You couldn’t have a better friend than Paul. He always had your back. Loyalty to family and friends was the cornerstone of his life.

We can celebrate Paul’s life with selfless acts of kindness and generosity as he did.
