Paul R. Doucet

Cumberland - Paul R. Doucet, 78, of Mendon Road, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at The Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Barbara H. (Pora) Doucet. They had been married for the past sixty years.

Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Armand and Pauline (Pukas) Doucet.

Mr. Doucet was a metal fabricator for Getchell & Son before hiS retirement in 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Robert and Donald Doucet and his sister, Barbara Black.

Besides his wife Barbara, he is survived by his two loving children, Tracy Liberatore and her husband Gary of North Providence and Glen Doucet and his wife Karen of Cumberland; two cherished grandsons, Brandon Doucet and his wife Victoria, and Ryan Doucet; two caring sisters, Viola Rodrigues of Cumberland and Gladys Cote of Whitinsville, Massachusetts; and three caring brothers, George Doucet of Smithfield, Ronald Doucet of Pawtucket and Michael Doucet of Providence.
