Patricia M. (Higgins) Flanagan

Cumberland - Patricia M. (Higgins) Flanagan, 86, of West Earle Street, died Friday, January 9, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late James E. Flanagan, Jr.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary (Kaplan) Higgins, she had resided in Cumberland for most of her life and was a 1958 graduate of Cumberland High School.

Mrs. Flanagan worked in the jewelry industry, and later as a quality control inspector for A.T. Cross Co., Lincoln before retiring.

Patricia was an avid reader, and above all, loved being "Nana" to her beloved grandchildren whom she cherished and adored.

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Gunnar Kemnitz of North Port, Florida, Kathleen Flanagan and David Theroux of North Attleboro, and Sharon and Michael McCormick of Cumberland; and seven grandchildren, Emilee, Caroline and Kate Kemnitz, Connor Theroux, Daniel, Gregory and Elizabeth McCormick. She also leaves one niece and two nephews. She was the sister of the late Sandra Pezzullo.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
