Patricia A. (Caetano) Bernardino

LINCOLN- Patricia A. (Caetano) Bernardino, 98, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield.  She was the beloved wife of the late Leonel Bernardino.  They had been married for 62 years.  Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Felesmino and Deolinda Caetano.  She lived in Lincoln for the past 6 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Mrs. Bernardino worked as a seamstress and as a jewelry worker prior to retirement.  She was very family oriented, loved knitting, crocheting, dancing, playing cards with friends, reading, listening to old-time music and watching the Golden Girls.  

She is survived by her two loving children, Elaine Ventura and her husband Vic of Lincoln and Leo Bernardino and his wife Jane of North Providence; her four cherished grandchildren, Dina Gagliardi and her husband Bruce, Derek Ventura and his wife Cindy, Adam Bernardino and his fiancé Jennifer Bevilacqua and Elisa Fletcher and her husband Marcus; three great grandchildren, Victoria Gagliardi, Derek Ventura, Jr. and Luke Ventura; and her brother, Victor Caetano of Warwick.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four siblings, Nora Caetano, Clementina Ferreira, Connie Albuquerque and Emily Roque.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, her funeral mass and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory to Nursing Placement Hospice and Palliative Care, 334 East Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Bellows Funeral Chapel, Lincoln.
