Pamela Mary Whittle, born on February 23, 1951, passed away March 3, 2025 at the age of 74. She is survived by Lauren Bird and Jennifer Sands-Curtis, John Curtis, Lynn Huddon, Joyce-Anne Whittle, and James T.C. Whittle.
Pamela's early career as a professional ballerina laid the foundation for her lifelong passion for the arts. Later, she devoted herself to a career in nursing, where she touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion.
Pamela was so very proud of all her daughter Lauren's accomplishments in life including earning her doctoral degree in clinical psychology and owning and operating a successful private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Whittle III, who passed away in 2006, and her parents, Lawrence Sands and Rita Blanchard Sands.
In her later years, Pamela found joy in a variety of creative pursuits, including reading, crafting exquisite jewelry, playing bingo, knitting, and sewing – a true master of her craft. She also enjoyed entertaining and sharing her creative spirit with those around her. She cherished her companion, Bob, who brought joy to her life.
Pamela will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, artistic talent, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1:00PM in The Historic Chapel of Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence with a reception to follow.
