Mapleville - Pamela A. Dalton, 75, formerly of Mapleville, died Thursday, July 6, 2023 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Dalton.
Born in Wyandotte, Michigan, a daughter of the late Roger Brown and Mary Lou (Mahon) Smith, she had lived in the Mapleville section of Burrillville for many years, moving to North Smithfield two years ago.
Mrs. Dalton worked as the Executive Supervisor of Housekeeping at North Hills Retirement Community, Needham, Mass., retiring in 2010. She was a graduate of Gibraltar High School, Michigan.
An avid reader, she also loved spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling, especially to Louisiana, Disney and to her daughter's home in North Carolina.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann Marie Rageotte of Manville, and Kimberly McNeilly of Oxford, North Carolina; two sons, Thomas J. Dalton of Bellingham, Massachusetts, and Patrick K. Dalton of Mapleville; two brothers, Roger Brown of Rochester Hills, Michigan and Keith Brown of Mapleville; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Relatives and friends are invited. The family will greet family and friends prior to the Mass from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.
