Millicent May Scott (Taylor) went home to God on September 28th, 2024. She was the sweetest and most kindhearted soul, known for her compassion, infectious smile, and deep faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Millicent was part of a generation that now lives on in our hearts and memories. She was a beloved sister to Paul Taylor of Vero Beach, Florida, and the late Raymond Taylor of Lincoln. She was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Grace Taylor, with whom she is now reunited with.
She was the devoted mother of Paul Scott of Johnston, Dana Scott of Cumberland, and the late Warren Joseph Scott Jr. She was the loving wife of the late Warren Joseph Scott. Millicent was a proud "Meme" to Collin Scott and Zachary Scott, and a dear aunt to 30 nieces and nephews. She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Amy L. Scott of Cumberland, and a treasured friend to many.
Millicent was strong in faith and mind, never forgetting important dates in the lives of those she loved. She was one of the most giving and compassionate people this earth has seen. Passionate about music and dancing, she carried the joy of a child in her heart. She enjoyed spending time with friends and attending church. In her later years, she could often be found playing bingo at the activity center. She loved deeply and was devoted to caring for those who couldn't care for themselves, always ready with a hug, a kiss, and a kind word.
Millicent lived each day as a gift, loving the people in her life wholeheartedly. Toward the end of her life, she was cared for by the amazing staff at St. Germain Assisted Living and St. Antoine's Nursing Home.
May she rejoice in the promise of eternal life and dance on the streets of gold with those who went before her.
