Woonsocket - Michael P. Brillon, 47, of Woonsocket, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at home.
Born in Woonsocket, and raised in Manville, he was the son of Paul and Suzanne (Moreau) Brillon of Manville, and had resided in Woonsocket for the past fifteen years.
Michael was a genuine, sincere and gentle individual and let it show in his relationship with others. In his youth, he made dear friends through CYO to whom he remains close with to this day, even serving as godfather to some of their children.
Michael has worked for KFC for over thirty years. His ability with numbers and great memory made Mike a great manager. He would proudly proclaim that his stores ran efficiently. He was proud of the people he trained and worked with, calling them his work family. His employees would gather at Thanksgiving to share their family meal.
Mike loved to play Hearts with his nieces and nephews, teasing them consistently as the game progressed. Sarcasm was his second language, but never without humor.
He also enjoyed quiet time, reading, binge watching television and movies, listening to Weird Al and taking naps.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Amy Wiebe and her husband Travis of Sharon, Mass., and Nancy Hancox and her husband Robert of Monroe, CT; and eight awesome nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Saint James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow in Saint James Cemetery, Manville.
Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Thursday from 4:00 -7:00 PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
