Lincoln - Mary Lou Sullivan, 93, of Lonsdale Avenue, died on February 2, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth F. Sullivan. They had been married for over 65 years at the time of his death.
Born in Lincoln to the late John F. and Mary C. (Toomey) Burns. She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln. She was a clerk typist in the Registrar’s Office at the Community College of Rhode Island for 10 years before her retirement in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Judes Church in Lincoln for many years.
She is survived by two daughters and two sons. Her daughters are Susan Mercer and her husband Tom and Maureen Dyer and her husband Peter both of Lincoln. Her sons are Kenneth R. Sullivan and his wife Cheryl of Charleston, Maine and Lincoln Police Chief Brian W. Sullivan and his wife Shilpa of Lincoln. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Burns, Richard Burns, and Elizabeth Arthur.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be available to view via livestream on her online memorial page at www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
