Mary A. (Tebbetts) Loynds

CUMBERLAND-  Mary A. Loynds, 90, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Bayberry Commons, in Pascoag.  She was the beloved wife of the late Merrill S. Loynds, Jr. 

Born in Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Ann (Zedon) Tebbetts.  She resided in Lincoln for 14 years, previously residing in Cumberland for over 50 years.  Mary graduated from Mansfield High School and the School of Practical Art in Boston.  She later worked for the RI School Lunch program for 22 years.

She is survived by her loving children, Linda Merrill-Contonio and her husband Jack of Yarmouthport, MA, Steven A. Loynds and his wife Virginia of North Attleboro, MA and Brian S. Loynds and his wife Colette of Burrillville.  She was the cherished grandmother of Marissa Salisbury, Meghan Murnighan, Nikki, Tyler and Jaime Loynds and great-grandmother to Bentley, Ian, Max and Dylan. 

Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the RI Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or Continuum Hospice RI, 1350 Division Rd, Suite 205, West Warwick, RI, would be appreciated.
