Warwick – Mary A. (Caluori) Army, 87, formerly of Warwick, died Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Westview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Warwick.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Gustavo and Antonetta (Marzitelli) Caluori, she had lived in Warwick for many years.
Mary worked as a housekeeper at West Bay Manor, now Brookdale West Bay.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, was an avid lover of dogs, and loved family gatherings the most.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Oakes of East Greenwich and Karen Bernardino of Cumberland; one son, Steven Army of Huntington Beach, California; seven grandchildren; eleven great grand-children; and one great-great grandson. She was the sister of the late John Caluori, Samuel Caluori, Ernest Caluori, Michael Caluori, Angelina Montefusco, Anne Zelano, Louise Vietry and Shirley Bonafiglia.
A Requiem Eucharist will be celebrated Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Christ Church, 1643 Lonsdale Avenue, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and all guests will be required to wear a mask. Attendance at the church service will be limited to 75 people. Private burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Christ Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 245, Lincoln, R.I. 02865, or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
