Cumberland - Marjorie F. (Hanson) McNulty, 96, of Cedar Way, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Gerard T. McNulty.
Born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Fred and Fannie (Bernique) Hanson, she was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.
Lovingly known as “Mimi” by loved ones and friends alike, Mrs. McNulty was a member of Four Corners Community Chapel, where she was a member of the quilting club. She also loved visiting Scarborough Beach in Narragansett.
She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Fortier, and her husband Alan, of Gainesville, Georgia, and Joy Sullivan, and her companion Georgios Sofikitis, of Cumberland; two sons, G. Thomas McNulty, Jr., of Sandy Springs, Georgia, and Gary E. McNulty,, and his wife Tami, of Fort Worth, Texas; ten grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Frederick Hanson.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Four Corners Community Chapel, 200 Angell Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Tuesday, from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Social distancing will be followed, and all guests must wear a mask.
