Marc Remillard Obituary

North Providence - Marc J. Remillard, 58, of North Providence, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the life partner of Debbie Higney, and the former husband of Elaine (Lafond) Remillard.

Born in Woonsocket, a son of Doris (Laliberte) Remillard and the late Wilfred Remillard, he had lived in Lincoln for many years prior to moving to North Providence ten years ago.

Mr. Remillard worked as the Chief Financial Officer of North American Shoe Co., and had also worked as a banker for Bank of America and Sovereign Bank. He was a graduate of Rhode Island College.

Marc was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, and was a member of the Manville Sportsmen's Club, Manville.

Besides his mother, his life partner, and former wife, he is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Arechiga of Hawaii, and Caley Remillard of Lincoln; one sister, Karen Allen of North Providence; and three grandchildren, Charlotte, Ohia and Reef.

A Prayer Service will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 4:00 PM in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours prior to the service from 2:00 - 4:00 PM.
