Louis R. Calitri

Lincoln – Louis R. Calitri, 83, of George Washington Highway, died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Lucille (Adam) Calitri.  Mr. & Mrs. Calitri had been married for sixty-one years.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Carmine and Anna (DelVicario) Calitri, he had lived in Lincoln since 1962.

Mr. Calitri worked for Davol Co. for forty-two years, retiring in 1997.

Louis loved to spend time with his loving grandchildren, and working in his flower garden.  He was an avid fan of all New England sports teams, and was a communicant of Historic St. Joseph Church, Cumberland.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Paul Calitri, and his wife Kristina, of Cumberland, and Donald Calitri, and his wife Kim, of Lincoln; one sister, Marie Harrop of Warwick; one brother, Carmine Calitri of Warwick; six grandchildren, Nicholas Calitri, Megan Calitri D.V.M., Kevin Calitri, Thomas Calitri, Scott Calitri and Daniel Calitri; and several nieces and nephews.  He was the father of the late Michael R. Calitri, and the brother of the late Domenic Calitri, Concetta Razza, Jeannette Phillips and Antonette Therault.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Tuesday, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.  Social distancing guidelines will be followed and all guests will be required to wear a mask.  Private burial will be in Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket.  For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.
