Cranston - Louanne F. (Rich) Amodei, 63, of Cranston, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of James D. Amodei.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Warren and Louise (LaCasio) Rich, she was a lifelong resident of Cranston.
Mrs. Amodei worked as a bartender for over thirty years at Triggs Memorial Golf Course, Providence.
She loved to spend time with family and friends, and enjoyed going to the beach, particularly in Cape Cod.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Anthony Moosey, and his wife Kayla, of San Diego, California, Nicholas Moosey, and his wife Angela, of Cranston, and Justin Anderson, and his wife Stefanie, of Exeter; one sister, Lisa Lanigan of Cranston; four brothers, Gregory Rich, and his wife Anne, of Cranston, Gary Rich, and his wife Susan, of Cranston, Glen Rich, and his wife Robin, of Cranston, and Louis Rich, and his wife Keeley, of Florida; seven grandchildren, Joey Geremia, Alannah Moosey, Anthony Moosey, Jr., Brianna Moosey, Talia Moosey, Brayden Anderson, and Julianna Anderson; two great grandchildren, Aribella Moosey, and Renzi Moosey; her sister-in-law, Jerilyn Peppes, and her husband William, of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call prior to the service from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, Suite 3004, Warwick, R.I. 02886 would be appreciated.
