Lincoln - Lori-Ann Hart, 67, of Lincoln died Monday, September 22, 2025 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of David Hart, to whom she would have celebrated her forty-seventh anniversary on October 14th.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Gerard and Roberta (Lauzon) LaChance, she was raised in Lincoln and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She would reside in Pawtucket, before moving back to Lincoln.
Mrs. Hart worked as a secretary in the Recovery Unit of Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children's Hospital for more than twenty years.
Lori-Ann was not only a dedicated mother to her children, Shannon and Jared, but she also took great delight in attending her grandchildren's baseball and basketball games, where she was the boys' loudest cheerleader and playing "Can't Catch Me" with the girls in her backyard. A lifelong and devout Catholic, she never missed a Sunday Mass, finding strength and solace in her faith.
An avid reader and passionate sports fan, Lori-Ann enjoyed cheering for her favorite teams-the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and New York Yankees. She found joy in traveling to Cape Cod, where the beauty of the landscape brought her peace and happiness. She relished shopping trips with her friends, most notably Jo-Anne Shannahan, while also enjoying a lifelong friendship with Valerie (Azar) Dunn. More than just neighbors, the Chalmers Family, Ryan, Paul, Jack, Finn, and Owen often visited and became a mainstay in her and David's lives bringing them great joy and endless entertainment.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Shannon Luttge and husband, Steve, of Burrillville; her son, Jared Hart and wife, Stephanie, of Lincoln; her brothers, Gary LaChance and wife, Kathie, of Cumberland, Glenn LaChance of Cumberland, Gregory LaChance and wife, Ellen, of South Carolina, and Gerry LaChance of North Carolina; and five adoring grandchildren: Geoffrey Luttge, Griffin Luttge, Ava Hart, Olivia Hart, and Jordan Hart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Saint Jude Church, Lincoln. Family and friends are invited, and may attend visiting hours on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Tomorrow Fund, 110 Lockwood Street, Suite 422, Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
