Lillian (Ribeiro) Marcotte

Central Falls - Lillian (Ribeiro) Marcotte, 93, formerly of Central Falls, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Evergreen House Health Center, East Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar Marcotte.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Viriato Ribeiro and Marietta (Doucette) Ribeiro-Downes, she had lived in Central Falls for most of her life.

Mrs. Marcotte worked as pinner for the former Health-Tex, Inc., Pawtucket, before retiring.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and loved to play bingo.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Murillo, and her husband Victor, of Central Falls, and Arlene Hall, and her husband James, of North Attleborough; two sons, Stephen Marcotte, and his wife Lisa, of North Dighton, and James Marcotte of Somerset; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Henry Ribeiro, and the mother-in-law of the late Mary Marcotte.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with a Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleborough.  Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.
