Pawtucket - Li-Li Lin, 88, of Roosevelt Avenue, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Zhou Weng.
Born in China, a daughter of the late Cong Ling and Xiu Luan Wu, she moved to the United States in 1988, settling in Pawtucket.
Mrs. Lin was a registered nurse, and a professor of nursing in China, before retiring. She was a member of the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island, of which she called her second home.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Liya Beaujean of New York, and Katherine Zheng of Tiverton; two sons, Ben Weng of Barrington and John Weng of New York; one sister Ji Yin of Chicago; and eight grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lin,Ji Guang and Lin, ZhuAn.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chinese Christian Church of Rhode Island, 333 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call Friday, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln.
