SANDWICH, MA- Leonard T. Hague, (more commonly and affectionately known as Len, Lenny, Big Len, Dad, and Grampa Campa) 69, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Cape Cod Hospital. He was the loving partner of Elaine Norton for 18 years. Born in Attleboro, MA and raised in Pawtucket, RI, he was a son of Gloria (Langlois) Hague and the late Leonard Hague, Jr.
He is survived by his two children, Jackie Hague (who he called Fish) and her husband Doug Auclair of North Smithfield and James Hague and his wife Stephanie Glasband of Los Angeles, CA; the mother of his children Jo-Ann Gendron, three grandchildren, Sadie Bea Hague Petelle, Lukas Hague and Blake Hague; mother, Gloria Hague; partner, Elaine Norton, her son Michael, his wife Diana, daughters Melissa and Stephanie, and grandchildren Liam, Aubrey, and Hazel; five siblings, Donna Blinn and her husband David, Scott Hague and his wife Kathy, Richard Hague and his wife Debbie, David Hague and Steven Hague; and nieces and nephews Pamela Hague, Elizabeth Hague, Keith Blinn and Jacob Hague.
Lenny loved fishing, woodworking, cooking, gardening and Patriots football. He spent most of his adult life enjoying time spent in his camper, even when it was parked in the driveway of his primary residence. He felt most at home in his garden in Sandwich, MA, on the pier at Old Orchard Beach, watching sunsets at Sandy Neck and snowmobiling in Andover, NH. He loved long talks on the phone and reading books to his grandchildren. He delighted in cooking up JUMBO lobsters at the Cape. He was known for his booming voice, thunderous laugh and his love for reminiscing about the many good times and fond memories of his life.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 11AM-1PM at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Rd., Lincoln, followed by a Funeral Service at 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to Camp Sunshine in Casco, ME would be appreciated.
